The main targeted card for the UFC 264 set to go down between McGregor and Poirier in July has been finalized. Taking to their social media accounts, the duo confirmed the bout both, saying it has been signed and it’s a done deal awaiting the date.
The fight is booked!
July 10th you’re gonna see what the Mac is about.

“The fight is booked! July 10th, you’re gonna see what the Mac is about,” McGregor wrote on Instagram. “Adjust and absolutely f—ing destroy!” Gregor wrote.
Neither of the duo MMA and UFC fighters spoke about the bout heading the card, but should it fail to head the card, then it would be the first time ever McGregor fought for a card that didn’t headline the event.
Both the two fighters have won against each other with TKO, with McGregor winning their first meeting in the first round via TKO at UFC 178. The rematch saw Poirier taking revenge on McGregor, also winning by TKO at UFC 257.
The duo is coming from a level ground judging from their previous meeting, and each is eyeing the next win.
The match’s venue is yet to be announced, with Dana White, the UFC president hoping for Nevada’s reopening for the event. Dana is also expecting a full house during the bout via the T Mobile Arena that has a full capacity of 20,000 spectators.
If Dana’s wishes come true, then this will be a big money fight that will see both the fighters cashing huge sums of money. The Las Vegas arena with the fans will make it a lucrative deal for both the promotion and the fighters. Poirier will be receiving a huge chunk of money for the first time in his career after witnessing a huge number roll in for his rematch against McGregor.
